Let people know that Zoios will be trialed, or rolled out, in your organization and include why you are doing this, what it will mean for them and what you need from them.
If you are a small startup, a team or a very flexible organization, you can just go ahead and tell everyone at once on an all-hands meeting with all employees, but alternatively a lot of our clients have had success with divide communication into:
Below are our best practises for how to introduce and communicate Zoios to each of these stakeholders.
Introduce to executive leadership
Executive leadership needs to be made aware and have buy-in for this process. They have been involved in the decision making process. This means that they are aware of this change and what it generally means.
Make it clear that it's been decided, even if the disagree, and now we need them and everyone else to commit to this plan to make it a success.
Introduce to managers
Here are the questions managers will ask themselves that you should proactively address when introducing Zoios to them.
Reason: Why are we doing this? (Is this an attempt to measure me?)
Practical: How does this practically work? (What will I be able to see?)
Expectations: What are you expecting of me? (Are we setting goals?)
Benefit: How does this make my life as a busy manager easier? (Aren't you just adding another thing I have to do?)
Support: Will I get any support? (Or do I just have to figure it out alone?)
Consider addressing those questions and concerns to get manager buy-in.
Introduce and present for employees
Here are the questions managers will ask themselves that you should proactively address when introducing Zoios to them.
Reason: Is this the same old annual survey shit? (Is this surveillance?)
Practical: How does this practically work?
Anonymity: How are results anonymized? (Can I really trust this?)
Expectations: What are you expecting of me? (Do I just need to answer?)
Strain notifications (optional): How do strain alerts work?
Replies to comments (optional): How can you reply to anonymous comments?
Benefit: In return for my feedback, what can I expect of your? (Will we use it for anything meaningful this time?)
You need to address those.
Here is a default presentation to solve that.
